Most cheap MP3/MP4 players (incl. some USB pendrives/UFD) reports a fake memory capacity.
For example while the actual memory is 256Mb,
it may report to windows a 2Gb memory.
Loading files beyond the actual capacity corrupts all data.
- Download the MP3 player utilities.
- Then install and run the MP3 Player disk tool.
- Select the partition and encrypt tab.
- Drag the encrypted drive slider all the way up.
- You cannot set it beyond its actual capacity
- Now hit the start button and your player should be formatted
- Exit the application and restart
- Select the same encrypted drive tab
- This time drag the slider all the way down to 0Mb and repeat step 2 and 3
File Size : 10.81 Mb
